MILAGU VADAI





INGREDIENTS
Urad daal - 1cup
Rice flour - 1/4cup
Peppercorns (Kali Mirch) - 10-12
Salt - As per taste
Jeera - 1-2tsp
Oil - For deep frying

INSTRUCTIONS
  • First soak urad daal for atleast 2 hours and grind coarsely in a Sunflame mixie. Keep aside.
  • Now fry the rice flour in a dry pan till you feel the aroma.
  • Meantime prepare jeera and peppercorn coarse powder.
  • Now add all the ingredients and divide into equal size balls.
  • Pat on the plastic paper, which is greased with oil. Flatten it and drop a hole in the centre.
  • Fry in oil and drop on tissue paper to remove excess oil. This is a famous prasad in temple shops, particularly in South India.
